This website is your destination for all things concerning Youth Rec Baseball and Youth Travel Baseball in the Canon-McMillan School District.  CMYBA has been in existence since 1952, offering a supervised recreational baseball program for ages 4-14 to the communities of Canonsburg, Cecil Twp. and North Strabane Twp.

Blaze 10U and 13U in Championship Games

10u was runner up in The Truth Spring Showdown in a rain shortened game that was called in third inning.  They played enough innings to be a complete game. 

13u is in the championship of their home tournament vs Moon but that was rained out and will be rescheduled.

New Summer All-Star Tryout Schedule

2017 CMYBA Summer All-Star Registration is now open again online.  Tryouts will be held, see schedule below. You must register online no later than Friday, May 25th in order to attend one of the tryouts.  No payment until after your player has been selected to a team.

BAT BARREL SIZES, HELMETS, CLEATS

MAXIMUM BAT BARREL SIZES:

Instructional, Shetland, Pinto:  2 1/4 inch barrel maximum

Mustang, Bronco, Pony:  2 5/8 inch barrel maximum

2 3/4 inch BATS ARE PROHIBITED AT ALL LEVELS

 

Helmets with facemask are REQUIRED at the Instructional, Shetland and Pinto levels.  No player shall be permitted to bat without a helmet with facemask in a practice or a game.

 

Metal cleats are NOT PERMITTED at Instructional, Shetland, Pinto, Mustang or Bronco levels.

New Bat Standards Coming for 2018

New Bat Standards are coming for PONY Baseball organizations in 2018.  These changes will apply to all levels of play in our organization.  CMYBA follows PONY Baseball Rules for all levels.
