VACANT BOARD POSITIONS

We have several vacant board positions for 2019, general board positions are appointed by the Executive Board for a 1 year term.

PLAYER AGENT - Assist with Spring, All-Star evaluations and player drafts for Spring and Fall

LEVEL VP's (Shetland/Instructional, Pinto, Mustang, Bronco, Pony) - Assist all head coaches with rules and such for your level of play, assist with anything needed for your level and report to the CMYBA Vice-President

CONCESSIONS MANAGER (3) - Assist in running the the concession stand, keeping track of stock needed and volunteers. Assist and report to John Kopec, would like to get 3 people for this position to work together in order to cover all 3 concession stands(Falconi, Cecil Elem & Cecil Park).

REGISTRATION COORDINATOR - Assist Michelle Kraynak with uniform orders for Spring, Fall and All-Stars

ALL-STAR DIRECTOR - Assist All-Star teams with running tournaments

DIRECTOR OF FIELD OPERATIONS position is open due to Matt Bolla having to vacate this position due to other obligations.  This position is one that takes a lot of time and effort, Matt did a great job with it and did so much it's tough to list everything.  This position basically takes care of maintenance for ALL CMYBA facilities.

All board members are asked to attend monthly meetings usually the 2nd Sunday of each month.

Our organization run completely by volunteers year round and we could always use more help.  If you'd like to fill one of the above positions please contact a current board member.

We'd like to thank Matt Bolla for his years of volunteering for both Cecil Baseball and CMYBA.  Matt's work was done when no one around during the day or on weekends and didn't get enough credit for what he has done for our organization.  Matt is not done volunteering his time, he decided to move over to the Travel Secretary position to continue his work for our organization but with less time demand.

We'd like to thank Sarah Telfor, Maria Welsh, Kim Rukavina, Samatha Mann and Candi Senita for volunteering for our fundraising commitee.  This has been a vacant position for a long time and we're very excited to have some volunteers to fill this position.

Josh Porter has also decided to volunteer for another year as our Equipment Manager.

Winter Workout Program for CMYBA Players

CMYBA has partnered with C-Side Sports for a second year to provide CMYBA players with a winter workout program.  Feedback from last year's program was very positive so we've decided to continue with C-Side Sports to provide our players a program improve their skills during the winter.  Chris Sidick and his staff run the program but will need some volunteers to help with the players due to amount of kids that participate.  Chris did a great job last winter with the kids and we expect another great program with Chris' knowledge and hands on approach to help the players learn and improve basic baseball fundamentals.  If you'd like to volunteer to help with the program or have a questions please contact Chris Sidick at C-Side Sports.  Coaches that helped Chris last winter said they themselves learned from Chris and his staff during the program and can pass that knowledge onto our players as well during our baseball seasons.  All fees are paid through C-Side Sports, please visit www.CsideSports.com for registration and details. Save money if you register before New Year's Day.  NO WINTER WORKOUTS ON FEBRUARY 2nd & 16th due to CMYBA evalutions.

Please Pay Attention to the No Parking Signs

Emergency vehicles need to have full access to the whole facility in case of an emergency.  The “No Parking” signs are in place to insure the facility is fully accessible and so traffic can flow safely before and after games.  Please pay attention to the signs, you don’t want to be the reason that prevents an ambulance from getting to someone that may be in need as quickly as possible.  Please do not park in the red areas.
