This website is your destination for all things concerning Youth Rec Baseball and Youth Travel Baseball for players thatlive within the Canon-McMillan School District. CMYBA is a volunteer organization that has been in existence since 1952, offering a supervised recreational baseball program for ages 4-14 and a travel baseball program for ages 8-14 to the communities of Canonsburg, Cecil Township and North Strabane Township.
Registration is now open online for 2018 Summer All-Stars ages 7-13. To be eligible for All-Stars you must be currently playing in the 2018 Spring Rec Baseball season and you must attend the tryout for your age group, every player that would like to play must attend no exceptions. Summer All-Stars is a lot of fun for the kids but having a Home Tournament is a lot of work, parents of the players selected to the team must be available to help plan and help run the Home All-Star tournament. Each team typically plays in Two Away tournaments and One Home Tournament, dates of all tournaments are chosen by the Head Coach after teams are selected. Coaches will only be selected after the tryouts are completed. Cost for Summer All-Stars is $100 per player and that cost covers the uniform (shirt and hat) and all 3 tournament entry fees, additional tournaments can be played but at an additional cost to the team. Players are not guaranteed to make a team so NO PAYMENT is made at the time of registering even if the system takes you to the payment page, payment will be due after teams are selected. If chosen to a team and you accept, online payment will be due immediately so that uniforms can be ordered. No refunds after uniforms have been ordered. The amount of teams for each age level will depend on the amount of players that register, skill level and coach availability. Please register online ASAP and attend the tryout for your age level, you must register online before attending the tryout.
